A little about me

Hope you enjoy my music. I put lot of effort into it!

I am Mario Ellul,  a born music lover from the tiny island of Malta in southern Europe. Since I was a kid, I listened attentively  to music, whether it was classical, jazz or Rock. I also read a lot of books about classic composers and musical publications of those times. I followed the  big bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesis, ELP,  King Crimson, Yes, Rush. PFM, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, David Bowie.

Nowadays, many of my past idols have stopped performing. The stars are all in their 60s or 70s. Unfortunately, we even lost some of them over the years. Still, there are some very exciting talents around like Dream Theater, Nightwish and many others.

My favourite genre apart from classical is progressive rock and I admire the virtuosity of some of the musicians around and the complexity of their music. Though I play guitars, I make my music solely using midi sequencers and devices.
